Until now, foreigners travelling to SaudiArabia have been largely restricted to resident workers and their dependents, business travellers, and Muslim pilgrims who are given special visas to visit Mecca and Medina. Passport holders from SaudiArabia, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain will be allowed to stay for up to 30 days under year-long trial policy.
